Four people were injured after a gas explosion tore through a house in Worcestershire on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to a property in Evesham shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.
One man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, and two other adults were taken to the Hereford County Hospital.
A fourth person was being treated on the scene and 10 neighbouring properties were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Sandra Cox, who lives nearby, described hearing an “almighty bang” and feeling her whole house shake.
“We were just sitting in the lounge, playing with the children and having a good time, when all of a sudden… there was an almighty bang,” she told the BBC.
“[It] frightened the life out of all of us. It shook the house, it was horrible.”
She described scenes around the incident as “chaotic”. “There’s been fire engines, ambulances, police cars, you name it,” she said.
